Whether through visual arts, performance, literature, or community-driven events, Foray provides a platform for emerging and underrepresented artists to thrive.
Our team is made up of passionate creatives dedicated to fostering artistic expression and community engagement:
🎤 Sarah Rooney – An author, poet, and open mic host, Sarah has dedicated their work to fostering creative spaces where storytelling and performance intersect. Sarah is the author of Mother Media, a collection of poems that reflect on culture, literary genres, and fandoms through a creative and critical theory lens. As a Karaoke Jockey (KJ), Sarah also specializes in creating welcoming spaces for poetry, music, and literature events. Explore their work at Soirées by Sarah.
📖 Greg Bem – A poet, librarian, and multidisciplinary artist, Greg has dedicated his career to literary advocacy, community storytelling, and multimedia experimentation. With a deep commitment to accessibility in the arts, Greg’s work spans performance, publishing, and curation, ensuring that diverse voices have a platform to be heard. At Foray For The Arts, our mission is to foster an inclusive and accessible arts community that uplifts voices often overlooked in mainstream spaces. We aim to:
